Fried ripe plantain


Plantain looks similar to bananas, but is cooked and not eaten raw. We use ripe plantain and this is fried in discs. If you are new to West African food, this is definitely one to try. It is great served with rice and a meat or fish main, or for a vegan alternative serve with our stewed beans.

Store in the fridge. To heat, pour in a microwaveable container, cover and heat in the microwave on full power for 30 seconds or until hot all through.
